1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

• Account information (name, email, company)
• App store URLs and review data you ask us to analyze
• Integration credentials for Jira, Linear, or GitHub (encrypted)

2. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to:

• Provide and improve the FountainData service
• Generate semantic clusters, trends, and insights from your review data
• Create and push tickets to your connected project management tools
• Send service-related communications

3. Data Processing

Review text is processed through our semantic analysis pipeline. We use sentence embeddings, UMAP dimensionality reduction, and HDBSCAN clustering — all running on our infrastructure. Summarization and ticket generation use LLM APIs (Claude by Anthropic). No review data is used to train or improve those foundation models.

4. Data Retention

We retain your review data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

5. Third-Party Services

FountainData integrates with third-party services (Jira, Linear, GitHub, Apple App Store, Google Play Store). Data shared with these services is governed by their respective privacy policies.
